Hi all, :driving:

I am near Paris and bought a 3.0i from Germany and will have it within a week or so.

it's a 2003 sterling grey with M suspensions, 108 rims, nav and unfortunatly DSP (I guess).

mods will be white lights kit and Ipod connection.
 
yes...but I will use this meantime to look at a good Ipod solution.

Aux In for 50€ or Intravee for 400€ ? I still haven't decide as I first have to look if it has the coaxial DSP.
 
since a few years I tried to avoid Paris downtown by car. It's a nightmare : traffic jam, radars, no parking, scooters and bicycles :headbang:

this is why I decide to buy a Z4, I will not use it a lot in city traffic.

Welcome to the Forum,

I recommend you only have the Aux connection added for 50 € as you quoted. I say this since in a few years you properly like to trade up? it is not a problem to take your iPot out and charge it in the house or find a device that plugs into a cigarette lighter and then you can charge and play it (check in the Apple Store, they sell several devices that may help you out). Here in Canada I added the full blown BMW kit $600- to my then M3 (sold it 4 years later) then I got myself one for another car from the Apple Store for $100- plugs into cigarette lighter and aux into radio aux or communicates via bluetooth with the radio on one of the FM stations. Check with the Apple Store.

I thnik first of all I have to check if this is the coaxial DSP or not...with the Aux/In isn't the sound too crappy and low ?
 
Got the car this week end ... I am really happy, it is much more efficient than I thought on B roads.

motor is fantastic and handling with M chassis is really good.

will add some pics lately.

I am just scared to scratch the wheel arch when I park it in my garage...the bonnet is sooooo long !
