Not sure if this will appear as an image but fingers crossed. A member asked to see the back end.
 
Be careful with the cabrioshield on black paint work. Little bits of grit ( in the wind )got between my cabrioshield and paint work and left scratches, especially at the bottom of the A pillar and rear scuttle panel.

Black shows everything.
 
Yes see what you mean. The cover can also go inside the boot but I was concerned that water might be able to get in. Seems a nice tight fit though so will try it and pour some water over it. Will report back.
 
Nope the water runs into the boot shut and drains away, just keep it between boot shut and boot opening don't go into the opening and all will be fine.

It keeps the cover tighter as well and will help stop it blowing around and scratching the paint :)
 
If you're tucking that into the boot lid lip (I assume it goes between the boot seal and boot lid to keep it tight?) I'd be wary of it deforming the rubber seal and causing leaks when the cover's not in use. If it doesn't go over the seal, then does it not put strain on the boot hinges?
 
Ill take a pic when I put mine on next to explain, it doesn't go over any rubbers, it goes in the gap behind the boot hinges. It's hard to explain but open the boot put the cover in the recess close the boots then it's tightly in place :)
 
Can confirm that no water can enter the boot area. It's a nice snug fit without causing any distortion of boot seal. Put a hose on it and gave it a serious soaking at different pressures - no problem at all. Good piece of kit and looks a quality part becoming of a Zed. I'm very pleased at £50 odd £s.
