Forget Highline Anneka...WE WANT AN M !

It's unforgiveable for BMW's Roadster not to have a M derivative. Geez..even the 1-series has an M now. :(

Entry models not selling well?

In my experience it's the entry models that tend to sell best.

Why not a Highline 35i then?

More likely this is to do with competition with other brands rather than across the product line, it also makes BMW more accessible to customers who may not otherwise be able to spec a Z4 of this specification-level within their budgets. From the point of view of a sales exective it is nice to have something exciting and special that we can offer to our customers.

There are no current product actions planned. BMW may be working on something, but if they are they're keeping it well under wraps.
There has been a lot of speculation of a Z4M following the launch of the 1 Series M Coupe; some people believe that a Z4M is inevitable as both the 1M and current M3 will end production in around 2012/2013, leaving the M division with a shortened product line up.
