Hi all
Just registered on this forum after using it for a couple of weeks now
Don't have a Z4 yet but was using site to do the research on what to look out for when buying
I have not completely made up my mind on whether to buy a Roadster or a Coupe.
We have had convertible car of one type or another alongside daily in garage for many years but the Coupe could change that
Whatever I decide it will be an older model as I quite often have my two dogs ( small terriers ) in there and don't want to mess up an expensive bit of kit. Ride Motorcycles to get my speed thrills but will still probably go for the 3.0 if Roadster.
Intend to do a trip to the alps in it as wife never been with me on my many bike trips there and I also have plans to do a couple of track days in whatever I buy.
Look forward to having something constructive to add to site.

Hi and welcome - if you've had rag tops before it was for a reason wasn't it? Just go get the 3.0 roadster

Yep the coupe has great lines .......... but its not a roadster  Next breakfast at Peter Beales, Attlebrough on 29th Feb 9:30 sit down.

Mines a 3.0 roadster might have E86 (coupe) and E89 (tintop roadster) depending who comes along

Wont be able to make the breakfast meet as working away for a few weeks
Just looked at Peter Beales, Rose Garden ??

Hi and welcome. Yes, that's the place. Easy parking and a great breakfast.
My problem is that it is far too close! Don't even get out of second gear.
Look forward to meeting you before too long.

Hi and welcome
I also love the lines of the coupe but would have the convertible every time 😁

Welcome to the forum. :)

And on behalf of every E85 owner I have ever had the good fortune to know, may I congratulate you on buying the Coupe because it is cheap.

That won't start a discussion......Much.

Hi and welcome, what put me off with a Roadster was drive back from France in a MGF and the girlfriend frying in the sun :fuelfire: the coupe is a better looking car in my opinion, you would be living the dream with a road trip to Les Gets in the summer. But much better when the ground is white :D

Hi and welcome.

For me it had to be a Coupe for the looks, but then I've never owned a convertible of any description!

Not such an easy choice if you like Roadsters though - good luck anyway!

Welcome to the forum, roadster all day long. You can have the roof up or down, in the coupri, you cant
