New here - Z4 E85 3.0

Hello all!

New round here and new to BMW ownership..aside from my E30 that we wont talk about.

Coming from mainly jap (MR2 Turbo, MX5s) and jags (XKR, XJR).

Few questions, I usually enter into a cannonball each year. Does anyone know the range of the 3.0? How much will a S/C affect the MPG? Whats the top end with a S/C?

Finally, what are the worthwhile mods in the meantime? Already have the very basics such as weighted shifter.

On a longer Mortorway trip my 3.0Si would often get 350 miles from a tank before getting too low and I'd expect a 3.0i to be similar. No idea about a supercharged one though!

Popular mods are getting the roof motor relocated into the boot. If it is a manual removing the Clutch Delay Valve improves how the clutch engages and fresh transmission fluid is worthwhile - even though BMW claim it is "for life".

We'd like to see some photos too!
 
Hello and welcome - yes I would think 300 to 350 from a tank but it does depend on how much you put your foot.
