New head unit

I'm going to swap the oem head unit for an Alpine iDA-X305S
I have the facia adapter but can't find any mention of a harness adapter, do I need one or will the oem loom just plug in?

sometimes i wish i didn't have nav as i'd buy a really nice top market dvd based unit and have it built properly into the dash, some of these aftermarket units know are absolutely awesome, my friend has a vw with an A vw approved kenwood unit and it was probably one of the best navs / audio units ive used.... jealously hit me hard!! Ive just picked up an new porsche and imo the nav LOOKS nice but doesnt perform all that well.....

Beedub, the 305s isn't a nav unit. its just a digital media receiver (basically a mechless/no-cd unit)

Checked this store and none of them mention z4, is it the same as any of the other models?
Any recommendations on face plate adapter, some are better looking than others, I want the finished install to look as oem as possible.
