Hello, sorry I have not posted pics of my Z4 yet. I would like to ask two questions since I can at least type. My 2005 Z4 has 28200 miles on it. I don't know if the tires are original, They are not new but still have decent tread.

If your car has run flat tyres as most do the effect you are experiencing is described as tram lining. It's not so apparent on a good surface . This is one reason why a lot of people change to "proper " tyres which means that you are stuck without a spare. A can of foam can help. As to the seats there are different seats in these cars I've had 2 Zeds and my present one has Msport seats but at 6ft 2ins I do need to be sure that all options are used to get the seat position correct. Try playing around with the seat height , rake and steering column are at your best comfort . Hope this helps.

The car seems to want to follow ruts and wonder on poor roads and on a nice flat roads it runs straight as an arrow with no wondering at all, any ideas? the 2nd question is the seats are not that comfortable on long drives it seems the seats could use some lumbar support. I have seen some pics of other cars and noticed padded seat covers in them, is it possible others have had the same complaint about there seats? Thanks for your input. Randy

Welcome to the world of Z4 ownership! You should find plenty of info on the site especially about steering and handling
You might want to check your front wishbone bushings as well as change tyres to non runflats (if you have them)

hello mate
i have the same issue with my steering you do get used to the run flats after a while but if i had a few hundred quid i would change them i found my seats in my 2004 z4 a bit uncomfortable when driving for a long period of time just had to grin and bare it.
