Hi everyone, currently on the look out for a e85 Z4 3.0 manual so though I would say hi first. Only owned 1 BMW before which was a Stahlblau 328i Sport which got painted then coilovers and the mandatory BBS RC090's. Great car but i've owned about 27 different VW's over the years so thought it was time for a change again! So Z4 it is I think...

Hi Adam, welcome to THE forum, great help and ideas from great people for great cars. I'm over at Sandiacre so always handy :)

Welcome and good luck in your search. Would welcome your owners experience of an R32 as they are on my (very long) shortlist of cars to own next.

wilbo.

Jumping on the bandwagon, my Son had a Lupo Gti, then a MkIV R32 Manual in DBP, R32 forums always reckoned DBP was the fastest colour. :D

He added a few items, took it to Santa Pod, that car was seriously quick.

So I bought a Mk V R32 DSG in Black, this car was much smoother and probably more civilised than my sons car. Much more me.

They are very sure footed cars, 4 motion drivetrain, engine is amazing, considering it's a narrow angle V6 the sound is sublime, we got around 20 mpg.

Interiors weren't bad either. It was a sad day when they stopped making them (2008 from recollection), the Golf R may have been quicker and more environmentally friendly, but it lacks the 6 pot.

I parted company with mine as a result of getting hit from behind, other driver was to blame, the car just didn't feel right after that, as sale I regretted. I tried to get an end of run car but specs didn't match my wish list.

I'm over it now, as the Z4 35i motor is lush and also has a fantastic exhaust soundtrack.
