Hi folks

A wee while ago I posted a wanted ad for a 2.5/3.0 Z4 on here , but everything seemed to be for sale down south ( Im near Glasgow ) . So after watching all the car sales sites daily I finally found a 3.0 nearby which fits the bill.

Its a weekend/fun car, Im a big BMW fan ( had e30, e34, e46, e39 and now e90 daily driver )

Its a 2005 manual and drives well, I did 200 miles in it on my first weekend with it there! Its got one of the sound generator foams removed so has that extra noise when you floor it. Im thinking about a sports exhaust for it though, just been searching reviews and options on here for that.

The previous owner made a few modifications to it -

Spacers to bring the rear wheels out a bit
Stubby aerial
Milled gearlever
Extra strutbrace
M style steering wheel, not sure if it was Z4M only or came on the sports?

Hi Rory,

That's a nice looking Zed - what colour is that roof - is it the light which makes it look light coloured - I like it - different to the normal black.

Welcome to Zed ownership!

:driving:

Is that Cueball's old motor ? If it is it has been very well looked after... If it's not then it's still gorgeous - looks like it has a Machine Monkey knob on it too

Welcome to the forum

Cheers guys

Yeah I believe his forum name was Cueball, he seems to be a car enthusiast like myself so seems to have kept it well!

The roof is light grey which seems pretty unusual. It also has extended leather up the A pillars and over the top of the windscreen and sun visors.

Hi Crawford,

The paperwork says it all, buyer beware no warranties etc. so don't worry, I understand the dangers of 2nd hand car buying at my own risk!

So far so good, after a weekend in the sunshine shes tucked up in the garage again. Dry weather use only for me :)
