Just to reiterate from pages 4 and 5 of this thread
I only have 21 RCH+ units in stock at the moment, there is currently another batch going through assembly but these won't be available for 2-3 weeks.
I'm sorry but I will have to process the orders on a first come first served basis starting at the top of the list so anyone at position 22 or greater needn't pay yet until I have further stock, unless they can swap their position with one of the 21 who is prepared to wait a bit.
Anyone over position 21 is welcome to a refund if they have already paid.

how easy are these to fit?? will i need to solder anything, or have to buy anything to fit it??

Mine arrived, fitted and working in 30 minutes. Used the scotch blocks, only issue I had was the "red and brown" wire was only brown on my connecting wires - process of elimination meant it was the only candidate

Was like a kid - demonstrated to a mate who was suitably impressed. Showed it to SWMBO - "is that different from before?" was her only comment. Women. Pah.

Ok I've had a look around and I'm really struggling to do this, I know people say its easy but I'm not one for soldering and cutting wires! Do you have to cut the wires from the loom?? And does and one know if there is a guide with pictures?? Or anyone near Halifax that can help me lol

Nova2k7, I'm not usually very good with this sort of thing. Take you time reading page 4 of the guide. Then after you've removed the console and disconnected the three plugs, carefully remove the black wrapping from the cables without cutting them. The scotchloks work OK if you are careful and make sure the cables aren't trapped once you put the connector around the cable. You need to apply a bit pressure with pliers to each scotchlok to get a good connection. Check and double check which cable connects as per Gary's guide.
I'm sure you will manage on your own.

So does that block thing splice the wire and hold it together at the same time??

Yes. It only cuts the insulation around the wire and makes a contact. Just take your time on each one and make sure the cable is free once you've put the scotchlok around each cable. I found it easier to slightly prise open each scotchlok with a screwdriver to ensure the cable sat centrally in the groove.

I received mine today. Installation was pretty straight forward (I used the scotch locks) and everything is working exactly as it should. It is a great bit of kit, I am really happy :D

Thanks for the help guys took the plunge and just took my time and it's working like a charm! Although my windows don't go all the way to the top?

They should return to the top. Have a look at the old thread about this module. This was discussed when a few folk had this problem.

Ok so I'm confused, just spent an hour this evening attempting to fit my new toy. I'm confident that all of the wires are connected where they should be, but I can't get the OTH part to work!

The remote open & close works great though, anyone got any suggestions?

Cheers

Just got home from work and the parcel was on the table. Will five fitting a go in the morning. Browsed over the instructions.
Anyone have any problems finding the wires they needed to lock in?
