New GPS disc

Hi all,
i have a 2004 30i with sat nav, can anyone point me where to get a decent disc upgrade please, mine does not seen to recognise where i am. When i got the car it worked fine but now the map that comes up is in a very basic form, does not relate to where I am and it appears I'm driving cross country!!! Hopefully just disc has expired?

Might be worth having a look at this, as it sounds like similar symptoms. I.E. maybe the antennae, not the disc.
Do you have a local mate with another disc you could try as an elimination process?

Mine come & goes, but is the GPS unit.

I've bought one, and maybe might get around to fitting it.

Removing the light is my biggest fear as I'm crap with taking things out of any car!
