New Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 - Worryingly bad grip :(

hi lads and lasses, ive been taking it all in what you have been saying about these F1 and think im going to change my RF for these, my car is a 08 20ltr sport, i have been trolling the internet for these but carnt get the right sizes to match up, anyone in the tyre game can advise me exactly what sizes to order and a reccomendation where to buy them ??? cheers, mick from cambridge

What size are your current wheels and tyres?
If 18inch staggered fitment then it should be:
225 40 18 92 Y XL (Front)
255 35 18 94 Y XL (Rear)
If 18inch non staggered then it should be:
225 40 18 92 Y XL (Front and Rear)
I can't help with 16 & 17inch sizes as i have never had them myslef.

Camskill nd Black circle have both worked for me but do check they have sent the right tyres - I had inferior tyres fitted at the front and they had to reorder and change them again. . . .
cheers ash, just found a company called tyre leader, £380 with the sizes you gave me which were spot on, [cheers] going to have the wheels refurbed first, thinking of having them black powder coated, saw a few pics on here and looked mint, will post a few pics when its all done, now looking for new pads allround, may aswell go the full hog. !!!!

If you plan on having wheels done, then i suggest you get the loose tyres price (i.e not fitted price) as it will be even cheaper.
When they do your wheels they will remove the old news and fit the new ones free of charge in most cases
I have used Lovetyres and Camskill in the past and have found both to be excellent and excellent prices.
