New Girl - Just Bought Z4 Coupe

Hi everyone,

After 10 years of happiness together, I finally traded in my M3 for a Z4 Coupe and I'm smitten already! :D

I know I'm supposed to post photos, but this is the only one I have so far ... I will take some proper ones soon. It's the 3.0 Coupe in Tief Green with cream interior.

I've had my car nearly 2 weeks and am REALLY enjoying having a car that people actually turn their heads to look at. I know it's vain, but it's such fun! :P

I do have a question I hope someone can answer: there's a deep scratch in the brushed silver insert that surrounds the gear stick & hand-brake. Is this costly and/or difficult to replace and is there anywhere to buy it other than from the BMW dealership?

Tief Green???? Wow.. that is one gorgoeus colour.. I WANT IT!!
Im on the lookout for montego blue or the stratus Grey.. but now.. its Tief green too!!

Ive never seen this colour before and i have to admit.. its probably the best one!

Did you purchase the car from a BMW dealer?

Regards the console trim, i found this on ebay. Hi Jody, guess your car is an "Individual" model.

Regarding the trim limited sources, ebay probalby best option, just rememober to ensure it have the correct number of holes for Sport and air bag button where required.

It's not the easiest part to replace as it's held on by 30 yes 30 screws and requires half the interior to be removed to replace.

Love the colour. The coupes seem to come in much better colours. Looked at the Sepang Bronze M Coupe, just could not quite drag myself aware from the roadster.

You will love this forum, really friendly bunch.
