New gear knob - fitted

I was in the market for a new gear knob; was saving for a storm v1 in brushed SS (looks the dog's danglers!)

So after a while I came across a post by Machine Monkey stating he's made a few - after some thought I purchased it.

The guy's a legend fair play - took a hit on the postage to ensure I got the item before Christmas.
It arrived well packed, and i'll be honest looks stunning. The engraving is excellent and the detail (slanted face etc) is quality. The knob helps with the gear changes as it's quite heave and sits lower than the OEM - perfect. It's solid on the gear stick with 3 grub screws and comes with an allan key for fitting.

Here are some pics - I'd grab these asap because they are quality. Top job

P.S. - I'll add some pics fitted when I've cleaned the car :D

Looks good. Must admit frm the pics MM posted I hadn't picked up the top was at a slant.

Did he supply some gloves so you can use it in the winter?

Ahh, if only it was heated...........

Looks great,like the slant !
Just removed my storm knob for my zhp one as it is cold in the winter. Ask santa for some driving gloves lol

Thanks very much  I am glad your happy with it I should look into heating for them!!!

They do warm up quit quickly. Maybe it's just my sweaty hands.

Indeed a chilly knob is not what you want at all!!!

I can look into making you one sbtwister but it will be more complicated. Due to the release button and I don't know any one with an auto either. Would need to poke around and do some measurements.
