New G29 30i Sport

Yeah, I didn't spec the comfort pack but the BMW sales guy pointed out the pathetic lack of a wind deflector and included one for £170, not bad. You should be able to get one retro fitted.

Apart from that I specced the Technology Pack, worth it for the HUD and Harmon Kardon stereo. Park assist also comes with the Tech Pack, I still haven't tried it but it includes a rear view camera which is very useful.

£170 is a reasonable price for the wind deflector, but this is the price you pay if you add it to your spec list when buying the car with it factory fitted. From what I have heard you would be lucky to retro-fit a G29 OEM wind deflector this side of £400 due to the exorbitant cost of the parts.

J400uk posted this information some time ago regarding the retrofitting of a G29 wind deflector on his car:-

Very nice, sounds like you pulled off a good deal.Does it fit in the garage?
After rejigging the garage shelves, moving the tumble dryer and buying a slimline fridge freezer.
It fits !! Just. With inches to spare, the car now has a dry home.

Always feel happier when a convertible is in doors.
Talking of doors,do you have a piece of carpet on the wall to save damage?
Your garage is like mine,a bit of a squeeze . :(

Funnily enough,if you look at the garage wall to the right of the drivers door, you can see 3 sponges bostiked to the wall.
The sponges represent a history of my Z ownership, E86 E89 G29. :)

I am so jealous of your garaging skills.
I’ve been slowly emptying mine this week. Still got 4 bikes, a fridge/freezer, a 3 foot by 5 foot cabinet unit and a 580l roof box to rehome 😂😔

Car looks great. Love the deep blue.

That looks like a tight fit!
I’ve got about 50mm either side of my deployed mirrors and I thought that was tight
I always drop the roof to get out after I garage the car.

Oh my, how did you get out 😁
I was a limbo dancer in a previous life! The things we put up with to enjoy a car that we couldn’t afford in our youth. I’ve had 2 back operations and a hernia in recent years, and after working for 47 years there’s no way I’m going to buy a sensible car. I can only just get my golf clubs in the boot. My neighbour is retiring next year and keeps going on about a Mustang, His heart says Mustang his head says Skoda RS! I keep telling him Mustang. You only live once.
