Well had new pump fitted at cost of £503 and now have the engine light on! :headbang: it's going back in tomorow but any ideas why this would happen? All this because it was noisy

Went back today,it's oxy sensor £202 ouch  so that's over £700 just to stop a noise :o

sorry to hear that Kneddy, could you describe the sound or when it occurred? i'm having issues resolving a sound in mine :)

Hi randy,it was a sort of intermittent buzzing sound, sorry its hard to describe, put it into BMW & they said they could hear the noise but it was not affecting the car yet.me being me about my z I went & had it changed even if it was not as the sound was driving me crazy :headbang: be warned the exhaust has to come off & all 4 bolts snapped  cost 13.45 each!!!! Also I now need a new oxy sensor for the second cylinder bank(open circuit) cost £203!! I think the garage probably cooked it trying to get those dam bolts off! :( as its very close.on a happier note I now have no pump noise & it seems to pull stronger  is yours doing the same?
