Hello everyone,

Been lurking for a while, and even posted a couple of times so thought its about time I posted a picture or two. I'm a Brit, now living in Arizona, married, kid on the way.

Love the site, reading posts and looking at pictures makes me miss the UK... :P

Crappy iphone pics from a recent early morning blast up a road known as Apache Trail :driving: Car is a 3.0si, sport, premium, manual etc...

Welcome, nice, clean looking Zed  Sure the top down is glorious with that weather and those views. Better than a dark enclosed coupe any day.

Welcome to the forum ... nice car enjoy :tumbleweed: :driving:

+1 yes how can you miss the rainy and cloudy UK days :) when you have the nice hot and sunny Arizona weather :)

Thanks for all the welcomes! :)

Yes, some of the views here are just incredible, i'm not complaining. I use the car for the daily commute though town, which consists mainly of straight roads, traffic lights, and the odd 90 degree turn. So its fun to go find a canyon run like that although i'm often too busy driving like a nut to look at the mountains. I mainly miss: the beer, greeness, country lanes of GB in general, curries (food, not the shop), trees, clouds (last one i saw was about 2 months ago) - more or less in that order. Plus some of the pictures on the forum are spectacularly good in terms of both the cars and GB scenery :)

Hi Guys, Just resurrecting this thread for an update on the car - new wheels, seats and springs. Went for gunmetal CSL reps on TiAg. -Nick

Hey Nick, where in Az ? I have a place in Chandler that I get to once in a while.

I'll be there in September for a few days, going on a four day trip with the Az club in my Z3.

Ooh very nice, looks great

Are you using a filter on your camera, the silver looks cool like a tinge of blue. I love silver, my next car will be white or silver for definite.

Hey mcbee, I'm in North Phoenix, I might be travelling in september, but if not i'll see if i can come along, at least for the first part, looks like a fun trip thanks.

Mike, thanks! No special filter, apart from the standard UV protection, Not sure how/why that shot seems more blue. The camera's white balance was set to auto, so maybe it was adjusting a bit towards the bluer side. Or maybe a reflection of the sky, can't really tell from those pictures (sky completely overexposed). Silver does seem to show up different colours throughout the day. This is only my second silver car after a run of black and blues. Agree on the white, when the day comes my next one will be white.
