New Ford B Max

Still thinking about changing our daily driver ( 2004 Fiesta ) - despite some reservations about Ford in general we've had our Fiesta since new and its never let us down - still looks good and goes well on the little 1275cc engine. Seriosly considered a Skoda Fabia - drove ok but very disappointed in crap quality interior - thin black plastic everywhere and ,in my view , the whole car looks dated. Got back into Fiesta which even at 8 years old felt more modern and certainly a better interior quality. Saw the unveiling of the new B max in todays paper - have to say it looks pretty good - with a new 1.0 supercharged eco engine that sounds like will produce similar performance ( if you can call it performance compared to the zed ) as the current Fiesta and is likely to start at only £12k . Due out this september - might be worth hanging on till then. Should get a better part exchange as well keeping to Ford.

I'm on my second C-Max as the family motor and had a new Fiesta TDCi Titanium hire car for several months, great little car (actually it's quite roomy) but it needed more power to get the best from the very the capable chassis. I assume the B Max will use the same underpinnings so all should be good
