new focus RS driven today

just been to everyman racing in loughborough to do a track experience.
i have previously done 2 in my clio and a vxr :D
had a great time, would recomended it as they let you :driving: the car properly if you have the experince and the skill.
had 4 laps in a metalic green gallardo. wow the power was amazing and they do let you paste it except around the pit area(sensible)
only cost me £19 as i used my tesco clubcard vouchers, £20 gives you £80 off.

then got a chance to drive a lime grenn new focus RS,they are the first people to have them in the uk to train the ford dealers.
cost me another £20 for 3 laps (should have had 2) after speaking to an instructor and geting a discount.
what a fantastic car :o
it was so responsive light and handled superbly.
i am picking up my Z4 coupe on sunday  ,a good job i have agreed the sale otherwise i may have been putting an order in for one

Cheesy pose alert! :P

(is that a Nissan GTR that you can see the wheel of? Some collection of cars either way)

Seriously though, what a bargain. "Every little helps" really is true...

No doubting it is a great car, and serious fun. We have a Golf GTi so I am into hot hatches. However, it is still a Ford Focus - you do not get the same driving experience in a hatchback as you do in a coupe or a real sports car.

no that was a new subara impreza :o looks much better in the flesh.
they did have a nissan GTR could have had 3 laps in that for around £75

Looks like great fun!

That gallardo and Focus must have been separated at birth--same color! :driving:

The perfect example of a car that can carry such a minging colour well (Lambo) and one that can't (Focus). All the CID cops in Glasgow have the Focus so i'll never be able to see it as the great car that i'm sure it is. Just wouldn't spend my money on it. Lambo's nice though!

Did you see the GTR? The guy who owns the building my office is in has one. It's very big. Looks like it's 20% bigger than it should be, in the same what that the Maserato Granturismo is also too big when you see it on the road.

Focus RS

+1 must try and talk the girlfriend into buying one as she was looking for a more practical car.

My girlfriend has an ST Fiesta and that is a nice car to drive! I'm tempted by the RS myself, especially in white! :driving:

That would keep up with most things on the road!

some more pics of other cars here

i overtook both of those in the focus

Both different cars and I like them both! :)

Not the colour on either though!

I look at this way. 2 different performance cars, one of which I have more chance of becoming the Pope than owning one!! :P
