Picked this little bruiser from a local dog rescue .
He's absolutely mustard. Completely bonkers though.

Congratulations! A house isn't a home without a dog.

I assume that he is of "uncertain parentage"? Looks like a Labrador/staffie cross to me.

You have to tell us his name!

There's a boy who is going to have a happier Christmas than he perhaps thought he would. :)

Super pleased you rescued. They can take time but the rewards are immense. Mine is sat beside me right now, snoring like a trooper and I wouldn't be without her.

Oh yeah......forgot his name...doh.....

Anyway the kids decided he would be known as Winston . He's about 14 months old according to the rescue centre vet.

He's obviously had some training. Knows sit, lay down, paw, stop, get down, he's house trained and walks well on the lead.
Typical Staffy as well, soft as muck, daft as a brush, fusspot and a bit boisterous (bonkers).
Makes me wonder how he ended up getting picked up as a stray with no microchip.
Thanks for the positive comments
I'm just glad I could do a bit of good.

He looks a proper chap  you get out of any dog whatever you put in & no way would i be without one , far better company than many human's

Hope you and Winston enjoy many years together in his " forever home". Always good karma to adopt a rescue dog. You can insure him for £25 a year via the dogs trust against third party losses.

Well done for giving him a new home,we adopted a rottie 4 years ago some scrote had battered him and wanted an aggresive big nasty dog which he most certainly is not turned out to be a big softie there loss my gain :)

Bless him what a great addition all round

As said above wouldn't be without my dog they are just great company. Well done.

Stuart

Well done, buying a rescue animal is like buying a CAT D car - always a gamble, but looks like you've got a good 'un

Cheers for all the positive comments guys..
As I have said, he is a nutter but a very loveable nutter.

I didn't realize that there were so many dog lovers on the Forum. Can't wait for the good weather and have him sat in the passenger seat with the roof down( fully restrained of course).. :D

This is the part where most of us cringe and pull funny faces......he's all booked in for the snippity snip this week
