So having agreed the sale of the Z4MC to a forum member the other week I was overcome with a significant case of FOMO for all things Z4 related.
As a result I immediately set to work on diverting my eldest son from looking at TT's and persuaded him to purchase an E85 3.0i albeit with a small financial inducement from myself to justify my intended occasional usage
Unfortunately in the meantime with the Covid-19 situation escalating the sale of the Z4MC has fallen through so we are now a multiple Z4 family.
The only problem I have now with my Tesla arriving on Friday is where to park said vehicles in addition to the other 3 cars we have in the household
Anyway those concerns to one side we picked the E85 up on Sunday so I got to take it out on Monday for a lap round Mam Tor - all I can say is I was pleasantly surprised.
Admitedlly it not as brutal as the Z4MC but in the 3.0i variant of the M54 there's still plenty of power on tap and with the addtional advantage of the rag top was a throughly pleasant and engaging experience - looks like I will be left eating my words regarding all my previous hairdresser comments
In summary cracking value for money and most importantly it came with the whippy - I'll probably wait it out now on the Z4MC sale but obviously leave it on here and if the previous members who expressed an interest want to get back in touch it is still available
