New electric hood motor

Hi all

Does anybody have any recommendations for who to use to supply & fit a new motor? Preferably in Horsham / Crawley West Sussex area.

A member on here called Bowser, he lives near Camberley and can move the motor to the boot for you (much better and no more dead motors) PM him :thumbsup:
 
Just got back from having a new motor fitted by bowser123 (Ross). Really tidy job and all working well. Major saving over main dealer and indy quotes. He also re positioned in the boot to prevent it happening again; professionally "hidden" too so no space lost in the boot. Would thoroughly recommend using Ross, even if you have to travel some distance. The saving's worth it! Thanks for the recommendation firebobby. :thumbsup:

How much does Ross charge for the relocation ? Might work out cheaper than a road trip up north.

Fred - would post photos but haven't worked out how to do it yet. Advice would be gratefully received!

Stuartt - damned good deal at £580 I thought including motor. A few hundred quid cheaper than anyone else. Where have you got to come from? He's based on Yate lyrics, Hants

I just got back from a trip to Ross, who expertly fitted a new motor and hid it away in the boot behind a custom made panel. The hood goes up faster now than it's ever done in our ownership. He emptied about 500ml of water out of the OE "watertight" motor housing, and no idea how much more from the well it used to sit in. Relocating the motor is a job well worth it. Ross knows exactly what he's doing & does an outstanding job; I was back home by lunchtime even with the 200-odd mile round trip. I've absolutely no hesitation in recommending him wholeheartedly. :thumbsup:
