Looks a peach that Ray, red suits the E89 very well to my mind. I see it has the latest gear selector lever, and if the push pull each paddle become a bore you can change them for the latest pull pull each side very easily.

Very nice, glad you've got something at last.

New car time 8)
Looks great, let us know how you find it compared to your previous e85
I've recently changed as well, no regrets about my 2litre turbo-I love driving it.
Ps, there was a bit of a background drone initially, but I discovered it was emanating from a few forum members whining about the 4 cylinder engine

looks lovely.

re the shifter, in "chilled mode" driving with a palm on the shifter, i have on 2 occasions now pushed it inadvertently from drive to neutral whilst slowing down. somewhat embarrassing when you next go to pull away..

Looks very nice OP - pleased for you. 8)

I'd be interested to know more about this; I'm not gelling with the push/pull paddles.

The latest pull pull each side paddles fortunately are plug and play. Go to YouTube and search E89 paddle change, there is a start to finish guide from a Zteve, it's a bit wobbly but he goes through the whole process, bit fiddly but nothing difficult.

Lovely looking car, Melbourne Red really suits it.
Hope you enjoy it.
Cheers, Dave

Super looking car Ray. Congratulations.
Proper engine as well

Does it have the PPS pedestrian protection system.
Have you checked.
If it has, be aware that it activates rather easily and will set you back at least £1500 to have BMW reset it.
It's the only thing about the E89 that I do not like.
