I am now the new owner of a 2010 Z4 SDRIVE 3.0l Auto in Red :D

From my previous post i asked if i should px my old E85 Z4 against the new car and i had lots of advice from the forum members on things i may like to do or ask in my pursuit of this new vehicle and i decided due to the lockdown and uncertainty of how long it may last i wanted to px the old Z4, i managed to agree the deal and the garage delivered the new car from Basingstoke and take my old car back as part of the deal, a little risky in these times but i was able to test drive and view the car before completing the sale.

The new car was up for sale just under £8k and i managed to buy it for £5.5k with a 3 month warranty from the dealership so will see how things go over this time, hopefully driving it from Wednesday.

Ha ha, old whipy one in the boot

Oh right, I was commenting on the whippy fitted in the picture. Surely you haven't removed that. The car will be so much slower! :poke:

Looks like a bargain. My favourite colour too. Hopefully we’ll all be able to enjoy our cars again in the near future without breaking the law.

Beautiful, red Zeds are beautiful, the shine you can get on the paint is amazing..

Yes it was with my old car in px, keep an eye out for any sales adverts as it was a great car and only done 55000 miles PA04 FNN Z4 2.2 in red, I do like my red cars as it looks sporty

An excellent car. Well bought. You'll enjoy it a lot.

Some good 'Features', too, including 'Non-Metallic Paintwork' (which I didn't know existed, but which explains why my Melbourne Red doesn't glitter, either) and 'Pure White' (a striking interior that makes the car look luxurious, which in many ways it is).

Yes a great looking car, can I ask how many miles she’s covered please.

I am in the market for a 30i too, so keeping a keen eye on prices on the major sites, mileage is a key piece of the price jigsaw (apologies if you did mention the mileage in your other posts and I missed it).

The mileage was a little high on 113k but lots of service stamps and last one done 05/03/2020 and only 2 previous owners, and it’s a 10 year old car so not too bad, I will only use as my second car and keep in the garage over winter months

As you say, maintenance is everything !!

Can’t be too bad given the extras cost more than you paid when new, so you’ve bought some nice and desirable optional equipment with a free shiny red 30i thrown in :driving:

Congratulation to the OP a whole lot of car for not too much money!

Carmine red is flat non metallic but your Melbourne Red is metallic, needs sunshine to be seen though. It's like mineral white and sapphire black all of which are very subtle metallics.
