Hi!

Having loved the shape of the Z4 Coupe since it first came out I have finally taken the plunge and bought a Z4 Coupe 3.0si Sport Manual. Have got a few things that i need to do to it but overall the car seems to be in excellent condition. I will post some pictures once the rain stops and i get back from my brief getaway.

Quick question though does anyone know how i can replace the drivers side door clasp in Chromeline as mines scratched? You seem to be able to get them in a bright chrome colour but not Chromeline anymore - any suggestions on the best way forward?

Thanks,

Broomst

welcome along and good choice of motor!
Can't help with the clasp I'm afraid but someone else will be along shortly to assist no doubt. Enjoy driving her!

Hello and welcome! Good to see another Z4C, Chairman Taz will be along shortly with your official welcome to the Exclusive Coupe Club :P

Looking forward to seeing her :driving:

Welcome- sounds like a nice coupe you have. As for door clasps I'd say eBay or breakers will be your only bet for non chrome line.

Welcome Broomst.

Great choice of a Z

Funnily enough I'm also after a chromeline trim for my driver's door handle, so if you do find one please tell. I've only been half looking but haven't yet seen one on EBay.

I'm also baffled as to how they get scratched in the first place - rings, I suppose.

Unfortunately, that is what i was suspecting!!

Welcome coupes are the best! Have a think about wrapping the door clasp in a different colour / same colour as that may work..

Welcome along broomy, nice to the coupe club numbers are growing  Good luck with the motor :)

Guys - thanks for all the posts it's been nice to have been made to feel welcome. Looking forward to sharing and learning with all of you over the coming months and years. Already enjoying the motor but it would be nice to have some drier weather to get out and do some things to it!!
