Hi All, figured I would say hello before starting my project thread!
Im a recent Z4 convert and have purchased a late 2.5Si - though ownership hasnt been as smooth as I would have liked so far.

Quite impressed with the Z4 so far, suspenion needs work and its hard to enjoy the engine with the constant coolant and oil leaks, but more on that later! Engine is smooth, love the noise and love how easily the back end steps out....

Coming from serial MG and Mazda ownership and the real surprise is that its taken me so long to buy a Z4!
 
Welcome aboard. Look forward to reading your updates and hope that some of less positive very early experiences won't be typical. Like me it sounds as if there might have been an mx5 in that mix of previous cars. Such a different experience isn't it - love the powered soft top in particular :thumbsup:
 
Owned an MX5 for 9 days, then sold it.

Found the F / TF a superior car for, for a daily at least. The MX5s ive driven have always impressed handling wise, but the lack of power was annoying. I do love that chassis though, so im a serial RX8 owner.

Welcome to the forum. Another serial Mazda owner. I was always too scared to take the plunge on an R8 so much performance for your buck. But a poor reputation for reliability and economy,. Mazda certainly know how to tune a chassis. :thumbsup:

Though to be honest itll look quite different soon, provided I dont tourch it. The more I dig, the more I find.... :poke: Still cheap enough for what it is.
 
Looks like you got a good deal, even if it does have some issues.

I hope you can get them all sorted fairly easily. :thumbsup:
