Evening all (Dixon of Dock Green lives),

While perusing the lord high emperor's emporium of tat that is AliExpress, I noticed they've started selling headlight lens covers and inside door pulls.

As always, there's a whole variety of sellers doing them (not just the ones here) with different options and levels of postage. The lens covers offer a "high quality" option for more money. Example listings ahoy:

Do the lens covers just fit over the existing lights and if so, what is the purpose, is it to protect the lights from stones? Mike.
 
They also sell the covers for the screw holes in the centre console for about £2 so I bought one just in case!

Looks like it may have been 3D printed as the surface is smoother than an original, but it's better than looking at the screw head or paying what BMW charge for them. :eek:
 
They also have/had the center console button that always breaks.

It is identical to BMW original one, just without any color (even black is different).

I needed beige so asked the guy that re-painted my seats to paint it in beige, and it worked. Looks OEM :D
 
I chanced £11 I think it was on a set of door pulls, they fitted and were adequate albeit a little loose.

I've since come by a set of good condition OEM ones so have put them on.
