I sold my lovely Valencia orange e89 35is about 18 months ago and have been contemplating a 987 boxster but couldn't bring myself to do it :D

This beauty came up yesterday nearby and I was lucky enough to be the first to respond and get first refusal. Supposedly he had many enquiries from FB and hardly any from autotrader.

It's really nice inside and out. I especially like the blue with the contrasting seats. It also has a after market exhaust which is pretty fruity. Looking forward to the summer and getting the roof down again (this time with no speeding tickets, hopefully! ) :D

I really liked my Montego Blue Coupe with Pearl Grey seats, but those Bi-Colour seats in your car look even better.

And the weather is ideal right now!

Those seats (and wheels) certainly were the clincher for me. Weather has been lovely but now of course it's forecast for rain here...It'll be all my fault that i ruined this summer... Sorry!

Very nice, I saw this on AT. Looks great!
yes not on AT very long. (It was on FB first and I replied 8 minutes after it was posted) . a few more miles than I'd have liked but I won't be doing many more each year. (I still love my range rover sport! )

No need to apologise - I've got a Coupe.

And miles don't seem to be a problem for the N52 engine anyway. My daily 330i has done 127K and still performs brilliantly.

Really nice colour combo (Blue body with the cream seats, and Black grill really looks nice)
Any more pics?

This is one of two UK E85 3.0si in montego with bi colour silverstone and black New England leather. The other has leather dash..

These are from the AT advert... always worth taking a copy before the advert is removed...

I noticed some drips under the car below the nearside headlight - looks like washer fluid but haven't had a chance yet to look. Any other obvious culprits under there?

Yep, your washers will be leaking there. Two choices:

- Code the washer function out using a Carly and plug the hose (you can reach it from the wheel arch hole and pull it off the pump).
- Take the pump out and replace

Lovely colour, has the bolster from the driver seat survived ok? I found that on the SI, those two tone seats are much stronger than the single ones. Think it is New England leather rather than the (softer?) nappa.

Have fun, they drive so nicely.

Yes, surprisingly well. My 3.5is VO with black leather/orange stitchwork interior showed much worse levels of wear despite being half its age. And thanks for the note on the leak.. I dont currently have carly but I'll check if my Foxwell will do it..

FWIW the standard "stiff" leather is Oregon leather.

New England Bi-Colour and Nappa were both £535 options on all models, other than the M which had Nappa as standard. Nappa is noticeably softer than Oregon, but I don't know about New England.

The option for the bi colour is not Oregon, I saw in the docs it was New England which was the “special” option on the pre facelift model originally.

I think that's what I said. :?

New England and Nappa were both options.

Being a top of the range model I expect the 35is had better quality, softer leather which may be why it showed wear.

Ah, I thought you meant that the bi colour which is hard wearing, was therefore Oregon

Now if you can explain why walka nappa Champagne is terrible for wear in any car that I have seen and the red nappa is so much better  Perhaps champagne drivers are heavier and wider than the Imola drivers
