New Disk and Pads Question

Morning!

Well after a visit to the dealer for an oil service the following also needs doing:

1) Broken rear shock spring
2) Disk and Pads Scored (to be fair, they've been sticking for a while)
3) Lamp washer non functioning

I just wanted an idea of how much it would work out at for Disk and Pads?

Might get it all done at the same time.

Many thanks,

T1b

If the brakes are sticking, do you not have caliper issues?

Mine is booked in soon for a sticking caliper. I expect I will need new brakes too, so interested in this!

Are you asking for parts only for disc/pads or parts and labour?

If parts only - then check out ECP or GSF and see if there are any discount codes for brakes this month. Textar appear to be the choice from there....

If you want to go OEM - get a quote from Jamie/Mark @ Soapers BMW Lincon and quote the forum for a discount.

Post your prices back here :)

Well, They said it was pads \ discs that needing sorting, I'm kind of hoping it isnt the calipers as that soumds pretty expensive.

but if it needs doing it needs doing, I get nervous about brakes and important stuff like stopping in a reasonably quick car :driving:

I've recently fitted the front and rear discs and pads ffrom Euro Car Parts, I went for the Pagid ones.

They are great, work fine, and ECP have a sale on at the moment too...

Basket today comes in at £165 for all 4 discs and pads.

Would be interested how that compares with the BMW price mind you.... maybe it's dearer...
