Similar yes if I'm honest.............but they're black which I'm not a fan of and too small with no stagger

On a slightly different note does anyone want to hazard a guess at the colour code.......is it Space Grey ?

bargain? i suppose they are reps then. THe original ones aren't really cheap. Is it a staggered set with the same measurements as the original ones? Where did you get yours?

Yeah they're reps but the OEM ones aren't great quality and are about £1700 a set without tyres..........I bought these from CM wheels, they are a sponsor on the M3Cutters forum.

They are staggered 19s but the offsets are different from the M3 anyway so these are the exact fitment for the non M Coupe.

Tyre sizes 235/35R19 & 265/30R19 Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3

These are the same size I have on my CSLs though mine are assymetric 2s. Have put the 3s on my work horse but would be interested in the performance of them on your zed as they seem to have a more curve sidewall on my work car so less contact patch. All the best.

Looks real good, not decided on the suspension yet, without a doubt mine will look better lowered but I don't want to ruin the ride and make it undriveable :?

But apart from running the risk of scraping the spoiler etc, what’s the benefit of lowering the car?
I can understand if the car for whatever reason sits too high, but I fail to see the benefit of running the risk of it sitting to low.
Perhaps it’s an age thing

Lol...........there are several benefits but I'm with you on the age thing, it can make them a right pain to drive with a bone shattering ride.........for me I'm looking for the right balance of handling, comfort and aesthetics :roll:

I didn't realise that M springs would fit a non M car............is that springs only or do the shocks fit too, are the Coupe & Roadsters the same too ? :?

Sorry I don’t think u ment to quote me but anyway. How do u find the performance of the assymetric 3’s?

Lol.......yeah sorry about that..........I've not done a lot of miles on them yet but I like them, had them on my E92 M3 and I really rate them

No, you can just swap the springs and keep the original shocks. It should lower the car about 15mm allround. You can lower up to 25mm with Eibachs or H&R with the stock shocks, but any lower would require a different shock set-up. But that would be a bad idea because the ride would become pretty harsh.

Good choice !

I wouldn't recommend 19" wheels though. It usually needs lowering, making the ride much harder. I would stick to 18".
If you have the standard suspension, you could consider M-springs, brings the car to perfect height.

CSL 19's fill the arches lovely but you will want to lower it slightly after. I used the Eibach Pro springs, I wouldn't want it any lower with speed bumps etc.

Silver grey it is............springs will be done soon, I'm just looking for the best price & waiting for the weather to improve
