Ok, not even a Z, sorry, but wanted to share as it compliments my E89 very nicely - surely a future classic, and at 24 years old with only 60,000 miles on the clock it runs like a dream! Only hitch is I can't fit a stubby as the aerial is an old skool electric telescopic thingy, like what my dad had on his old Volvo estate - at the time I thought it was the zenith of technical progress :D

It was an astonishing find. One owner, garaged it's entire life with fsh. hardly a mark on it. 1988 E30 316 auto with a carb'ed M10 engine (which are like hen's teeth now) - unbelievably smooth ride for it's age. it's got some new-fangled manual wind windows too which are fun... :driving:

with a proper plug in glovebox torch ? :driving:

yup! that's there too, as is the original bmw tool kit attached to the underside of the the boot lid. 8)

I'm incredibly jealous! It looks ridiculously clean!

Please do the car a favour and post more pictures!

Nice touch krispy , happy memories of my first ever BMW , was 19 years ago i was 26 .
E30 320I se met black with dolphin grey sport seats
man i thought i had landed  loved it with the BBS crosswire wheels :driving:

Ridiculous is literally the word. my old man took it around the block a couple of times and said it drives better than his brand new VW polo auto! :o

Hoping it's not too good to be true, but it seems genuinely clean. Am on the hunt for some 14 inch BBS cross-weave alloys now...Old Skool

I think I've just had a crisis seeing that  Dolphin Grey isn't it?

My old beast that I had for over 100,000 miles, the day we parted :(

haha! awesome, they look like twins! the colour is the only thing that I can't work out... DVLA check says it's Dolphin Grey, and it looks like Dolphin Grey albeit with a slightly blue-ish tinge... but... the original invoice when purchased new back in '88 states it's Cirrus Blue... bit odd ?

Nice find! Lovely old things, E30's! Had an '89 320SE 4dr in Dolphin Grey and a '90 325i Sport 2 dr in Alpine White at the same time for a couple of years about a decade ago. Both were utterly superb cars

Si , there are mullets & there are mullets , congrats on your work done perfecting yours :P & a  on modding the trims for alloy wheels :driving:

Omg Si that's one amazing hair cut!! I hade those wheels on my first car are they Tsw hockenhime. I loved those wheels.

well, i say "coupe", but it's technically more of a roadster as it has the hand-windy sunroof, which funnily enough takes the exact same amount of time to open as the E89's folding roof.
