I thought I should finally register and say hi!

I've been browsing the forums for a while but only bought my Montego Blue Coupe about a month ago. I wanted something that was still fun but a bit more sensible (and reliable) than the TVR that it replaced. I've been really impressed with the Z4, I will post up some photos as soon as I stop driving it for long enough to give it a good clean :D

I used to have the V8 Cerbera – a truly awesome car but at the same time it was the biggest pain in the backside I have ever owned! The performance was outstanding, but in anything but ideal conditions it was such hard work you felt it wasn't worth the hassle. Not so much the outright power - you soon learn to live with that and respect it, but it was the everyday things such as an appalling turning circle, crap visibility and the constant niggly faults that conspire to make you look like a prat at every opportunity!

I'd wanted one since seeing the launch at the motor show when I was in my teens and I'm really glad I can now say I've owned one. Would I have another? - Maybe, but it would have to be a second car and I've got too many toys already.

The Zed on the other hand is a cracking car, I get literally double the MPG I used to from the Cerbera and far more than I've had from a car in ages :D Cheaper running costs = more of an excuse to drive it :driving:
