As a rough guide the TDi Black edition is around £32k new the TTS black edition is around £37k, we paid £41k for ours in july 2012 once the options were added on, I think Matt said he got a fantastic deal on theirs though, we got some dealer contribution on ours but £41k is still expensive I think for a TT.

The TTs was out of budget. Although with all the boxes ticked it was a 36k car. Audi are doing some great deals and i think we caught the dealer at the right time as we about £6k off!!! And a very good price on our trade in.

Thanks for all the warm comments guys n gals

Well the wife picked the car up at lunch. And from the message i got i think she likes it.

Looking forward to getting home and having :driving: myself.

Nothing wrong with modern deisels. The torque makes for effortless driving and gives real punch to the motor. Enjoy and have fun! :driving:

Right no new pictures yet sorry guys. But I gave the keys all day Saturday for a wee drive and promise to take some.

So been out all night with the wife having a nice drive about. First impressions are all great. It's very different from the zed you sips nice in low really in the car. The high doors add to that feeling and felt odd to start with. But once used to it all is fine a bit like the zed it's a great seating position but takes a few miles to feel natural.

Obviously not pushing the limits yet it had 18 miles on it when I took the keys. And Mrs Monkey ISP not a fan of driving fast or even brisk  but it pulls well from low revs it sounds like a diesel out side but hard to tell from inside. The gear box is so smooth in auto and extremely quick in semi auto mode. I quite like the paddles they feel like paddles rather than buttons. But I really liked using the gear stick in a sequential fashion like the late great Colin McRae.

Looks wise....well it's hot red and shiny with big black wheels spoilers and tinted windows. If I where to designe a TT it would be this!! Inside well I have never sat on brand new leather witch is soft. Leather in my cars has always been worn shiny and though as old boots!! All the controls feel great. Steering is light at low speeds and forms up at speed. It feels great. All the other controls feel great. Apart from......... When I tried to use the clutch ( yeah I know it's an auto ) came to quite an abrupt stop in Morrison's car park!!

So sorry about all the words and no pics. Don't blame you for not reading it all......

Hey MM car looks great. Enjoy!
Practical sports car! Love the Diesel boooost! different way of driving but great fun.

Hey Matt, can't believe I missed this post of our Sheep in Wolf's clothing.

Think my TT is your exact twin with the kit onboard save the colour. I'm still on delivery miles, looking to get past 500 this weekend, though still a long way fm 1k before can explore more.

Have the same 'where's the clutch moments' every so often, my chic (proper southern spelling Bing) has a ban on it so the 19" are safe for the moment.

Chipping - did it on my first 170 A3, 0-30 not much difference, over 30mph in a 3 door hatch running 200bhp with 450nm torque upsets a considerable amount of other road users in posh metal, but most of all removed flat spots, more pull & extended power band.

Downsides, needed more frequent long runs to stop particulate filter getting annoyed & increased fuel usage because of the extra umph - there are a few TTS limited editions in nimbus grey about with a super spec, but the colours not exciting, cost extra £100 PCM over 4 years not 3, so couldn't take it in the end

Thanks Stu I hear what your saying about the diesel. And yeah it sounds like a diesel but the engine really fits the car the torqe is epic and really works with the Quattro and s Tronic gearbox.

Jembo they could be twins very similar cars. I love the colour of yours but we both fell in love with the red when we saw it.

We are coming up to 800 now I am looking forward to being able to drive it a bit harder. Interestingly the guy at Audi said we didn't have to be to carful running it in!! but my mechanical sympathy won't allow me to nail it until it has 1500 mile on her!!

I am not allowed to chip it  but to be honest I think it's fine I can imagine it would keep up with my zed power delivery is very different not as dramatic. But it piles on speed very well :)

Maybe we will have to organise a z4 forum TT meet there are a few of us.

We took it steady until 1500 miles but I agree you want to stretch it but know its best not too, I do like the idea of a TT meet as there does seem to be a few of us

So the very much loved TT is going on Saturday! The sotork deliverd our mini monkey much quicker than we exspected. And after trying to live with it the move has been done and a bigger Audi is coming.

The TT has been amazing looked great drove great. And the oil burner and auto wone me over.

So good buy little car you will be missed.

We are swapping for a Q5 although the TT was amazing I am looking forward to having all the family in one car comfortably.
