Hi to everyone I’m Mark from Wolverhampton
Just wanted to say hello
I have a 2006 Z4 3.0si which I’ve owned for around 10 months now, a few years ago I’ve owned two Z3’s and was looking to get back into Z ownership so I’ve bought myself this IMG_5289.jpegIMG_5292.jpegIMG_5290.jpeg

Yeah it’s a nice old girl the guy I bought it from had owned her for 10 years which is always a good thing, it’s done 74k and I do have the original wheels which came with the car
Got some plans for it in the summer tucked away in the garage at the moment

Welcome to the forum Mark. I love your Bi-Colour interior.

I must admit that was one of the things that really appealed to me when I purchased it
I’m hopefully going to refresh the suspension soon
Hopefully get some good info from you guys on here of the best way to go

Welcome to the forum. Nice to see another Z4 owner from the midlands
You're not the only one with an interior like that.
I have one too on a car with a questionable lifespan.

Have you ever had any bother with your numberplate style?

Hi there no I haven’t tbh but I have changed them now to the normal style
I actually asked the previous owner if he had changed the seats but he said no they’re the original ones, then I noticed the extended leather on the dash, there is a slight bit of wear on the bolster but there is a local guy who repairs leather seats and I’ve seen his work on my uncle’s Jaguar so hopefully going to get that sorted
It’s generally a very nice car it’s definitely had some TLC over the years
It’s only a weekend car, just enjoy an old school car, roof down motoring you can’t beat it 👍

Someone on here compiled a database of all 3.0Si and M models:- https://tonyz4c.z28.web.core.windows.net/index30si.html

If you look yours up on there using the VIN then click on the line it will show the OE spec. which is handy now free VIN decoders seem to have disappeared. :(

Welcome. Love the interior, and I’m not usually a fan of two-tone leather. May be the light but the wheels look a nice natural metal colour - big fan of that.

I think the wheels are off the E89 Z correct me if I’m wrong, they are genuine BMW wheels and they’ve been finished in shadow chrome which does seem to work well with the silver paint and they’ve got a lovely offset
