**NEW! - CARBON FIBRE MFSW

Hmmm. Need to keep coming back to this. I want I love it, but something is stopping me at 'like'... Perhaps the lack of colour in the hamann and ///M badges is not helping ?

I think as part of a CF theme, which it is, it looks good  - although it's not for the feint hearted. It wouldn't suit the car if it was done in isolation.

It's a bit more than the OEM+ look which I aim for on my car.

mark can you remove the little trim bits without taking the whole thing off?

shirley its just a screw behind on each and if i use a small screwdriver i can get behind there?

i want to wrap the metal bits on my normal wheel tonight
Nope I found you have to remove the airbag as the inserts are firmly wedged under the steering wheel leather... Good luck!

Because that's what you stated for postage costs

To help you out it cost me £11 to post a front bumper grill within the UK

Oh. Bit random to pull that up out the blue. Anyway- It's 20quid as the parts are shipped from China. Thanks for the postage advice!

Thought i would share my new addition.. got the New 1series BMW Performance CF gear shifter - & converted it to fit the E85.
Just got the seats to work on, then the interior is pretty much done. Hopefully going to try get it all done for Gaydon show.

Looks good, although I'd have left the switch surrounds 'factory' to balance the over all look. Quality looks top notch. :-)

Hi mate, yeah the switch surrounds were scratched hence the CF treatment, common problem as were the inserts.
(FYI - There is no balance in this project, just CF all the way!!! )

Looks good, but possibly just a bit too much, probably just needs the concept of where and how it's used refining but you'll probably get the balance right with time :)

Overall it's cool to see CF done well in itself so nice work :D

Has anyone ever tried wrapping different bits of the interior in alcantara or anything like that? Alcantara and glossy real CF might go well together. Hmmmm...
