Ladies and Gents, proud to share the latest of my CF... fresh from the Carbon Fibre Corporation.
Will post pics when done. Parts looks incredible, the areas around the buttons are quite tricky but as you can see its a perfect job.

Costs? well i can get this lot done for £265. thats front and backs, + the button surrounds. Postage is about £20, and if theres a few people interested i may be able to work out a special Z4F price.
Yeah its the cost of a new steering wheel! but how much are those inserts from BMW? now see if you can find them in CF? now ask somewhere like CA automotive how much they charge.... if they ever got back to you, then yes, im miles cheaper. Plus, you can come see all my CF parts in my Z4.
PM me as usual for enquiries!

Yeah its pricey. There is vinyl wrap for those who don't want to spend that kind of money.
I just love the fact that the interior of my 7k car is better than most 20k cars!

Mine are looking tatty so I was thinking about this yesterday.. I'd like to see them fitted but they could look great against the carbon dash? 8)

Yes indeed it will! spk later mate.

Wow!

Do you have fitted pics?

Fantastic quality can can see the detail of the weave.

Stupid question... Is this stuck ontop of the original parts? If so how thick is it?

Yo mate, its laminated and wet laid vacuum formed Carbon Fibre fabric sheet. its the real deal and exact the same factory process as used by Ferrari and Porsche interiors.
Yes its a bit of a cheat as its laminated on top of the original parts - its very thin, you can hardly tell the thickness. Plus there is a thick gloss lacquer on top of that to keep it all in place. The final thing is wet sanded and buffed, so its just lovely looking. Simple as that. The parts fit together no problemo - the thickness really doesnt effect it. You could have a mold built and have the part completely made from CF, such as a CSL bootlid etc, but its very, very costly. A boot lid will be approx 2k. :P

thanks Jonny - how much do i owe you?! :D :D

Funny, i was only thinking about this at the weekend. Mark, another item i thought about was the rear view mirror. Subtle from inside due to amount of cf visible from seated position, but its all about the details 8-)

Are you on this already?

Hi mate, we have done a few for the Mini, not tackled a Z4 version yet - but its very similar. Waiting for someone to order that!
We have done the inspection cover to the roadster roof, sits just above the mirror - thats a nice piece of blank plastic to cover. And yes, im afraid its ALL about the details!
