That's not good is it ?
I've stuck with the Mondial / BMW insured warranty-expensive but I think it's got good cover.

Hopefully the new one will be trouble free

The problem with these warranties is that you only find out how crap the cover is if you're unfortunate and try claiming, at which point they will do everything legally possible not to pay out. They employ assessors who's only function is to sink as many claims as possible

Given that the BMW official warranty through Mondial only has 2 requirements which are.

All services done on time to scheduele.
BMW genuine parts used for repairs

It is hard to beleive they will wiggle their way out of it. Alot of warranties are not worth the paper they are written on, how ever the BMW Mondial warranty generally has good reviews.

Interesting.

I've had warranty claims with BMW and Warranty Wise and another company, I can't recall which one, they all acted in 'good faith' over the claims and I didn't have any major issues. But I can see why people distrust them, you need to read the small print, exactly what's covered and limits for claims.
As an example, slave cylinder blew up on my MGZT, covered by warranty, gearbox out job, clutch plate contaminated by fluid. I had to argue to get them to pay for clutch plate as they said it hadn't 'failed' . They paid up eventually after a few words were exchanged.
