Drove away in a Cooper S clubman this morning 8)
Only for the day though :|
We dropped off Mrs smartbears previous model clubman for an mot & service so had a few hours to drive around the countryside, it was an exciting drive, especially in sport mode with audible turbo flutter noises and strong acceleration on demand.
Don't think we will be trading up though as Ann thought it was too big for a mini.

Love that colour!
How real world practical are the double doors though? Can you still open them if someone's parked up behind you?

Nice isn't it :) , the doors need space to open but the same is true of many hatchbacks as well-we have the older version & it's a good combo of practicality & quirkiness imho.
A little different to the usual formula

I stood by one the other day. They are not exactly "mini". I should imagine well built though?

The interior was superb with ventilated leather seats, soft touch dash with good tech-also had an impressive john cooper works steering wheel

Only because I've had to turn round to find you as you've gone the wrong way! :poke:
Speaking of drive outs, one is overdue? Maybe Mr Essex might risk taking his car out

5% chance of precipitation forecast, no danger of Jonny driving out of his hermetically sealed chamber

Not bad.

I rented out a convertible mini and drove around the Austrian alps a couple of months back. Not nearly as much power as the zed but still great fun to drive!

Nice practical transport. So who's going to be first to come up with a gull wing boot for their Zed. 8)
