new car

oooo lovely car mad4slalom! the PSS tyre walls really look cool and make the orignal allow look very smart indeed! thanks for the inspiration - will start saving up now!! :D

thanks guys, the pss 265 /235 sizes aspect ratio makes for ever so slightly higher side walls which seem to help with the ride a little. the pss's grip so well , even in the wet. I never had any issues with the contis mind , except the ride is definately superior. the pss's hav only let go once after a traffic light start alongside a particularly "revvy" young man in truro a few weeks back, dry road ,dsc off, 3k rpm ,... he was toast with just a half second of mild squeal before the spectactular M diff took control and got the power down.

Nice review mad4slalom including the off the line performance rating
Did you have the tracking done after the spacers were fitted? I am assuming this the right way round to do it :?

Fair play car looks very tidy. I used to have an Orient Blue E46 330 which is almost identical in colour

I loved it but was an absolute PITA to keep clean.

hey fast 3k the spacers arrived an hour after the alignment was done :headbang: so fitted after but i couldnt see what difference it would make , but I expect others on here may explain to the contrary, I still think I could have gone a bit more agressive still , ie more neutral on the alignment so I dont have a problem doing it again in a couple of months its only 60 quid, some on here thought it might have been too twitchy but itsno worse so may go a tad more. :driving:

Looks like a tractor to me.

yeah, a bit like when i was a kid with a mk 1 escort sport and we thought 185/70/13's were LOW profile. I am now 54 itag and you may prefer to drive around using cam belts for tyres but I want a bit of comfort and found these just soften it up a tad. :driving:
