Can hardly contain myself (shoot me)! Thank you all so much for your knowledge, help and guidance/opinions re blue/black, however I've now committed to the ruby black (picking her up next weekend)- yes she's definitely a she :evil:

The condition, age, spec and mileage swung it in the end- 2008, Z4M ruby black, elec/heated seats, multi cd, Bluetooth prep, xenon, immac. Condition

Will post pics soon- what a fab day for a test drive today huh? Drove the scooby to the garage and the M felt nice 'n smooth by comparison- loving the steering wheel too

Never dreamed I'd feel so excited at the prospect of taking a trip to Halfords to pick up some goodies : )

I picked up my Ruby black Z4 last weekend (although this weekend has been my first to drive it (long story!! :roll: ) )

Thanks chaps : ) next sat afternoon, probably a good idea that hubby wasn't with me today as he would have persuaded me to look at more cars before committing ( have seen a few). However he was very pleased and is coming with me next week to get her. Lovely handling and responsive on the breaks - felt right at home within about 5 mins into test drive (the seller had to remind me of a few speed cameras), let's see how long my license lasts!!

Pics very soon will see if I can get some up later - Saturday night on a car forum ( shoot me again!).
