Hi,

I bought this 2004 3.0 Z4 in December and after visiting this forum, have listened to you lot too much and this is what happened:

Refurbed 108's, Eagle F1's, ZHP, Cruise Control, Carbon Badges, Mcguard Ultra Locking Nuts, Locking Valves...

Waiting for Stubby next week, then Ipod connector and CDV to go :)

Thanks for all your help. I really appreciated the guidance I got from my constant posts :)

Nice looking Zed and liking the wheels V nice and are the roll hoops painted,by the way welcome to the forum :thumbsup:
 
Hi Mate, no wind deflector for my sins lol. Might take it off tbh or get the screen, although off to france soon to le mans classic.

are the rolhoops painted,as they are normally silver/yours look dark grey/black?
 
Wheels and calipers look great, really like them :thumbsup:

Your discs are looking pretty worn though, I'd be swapping them soon. You can upgrade the size (using 330 discs), do a search and you'll see.
 
Hi,

Discs were just washed so the usual browny look afterwards, will silver up with a little drive :) I do need a new set of pads soon and you are right in that the they said replace discs then as they were a little worn, but the lip isn't much, so a few thousand miles to go :)

I am looking for some advice on good pads and discs etc, not too expensive but do the job :)

I only do 5K per annum, so a little while to go. I presume a warning light comes on for the brake pads, about 1k before they need replacing?

Mmmm, new M&S advert, hot...danni minogue, sorry got distracted lol.

The finish on your wheels looks great,you you ditched the run flats too? just bought my car and the dealer,while trying to flog me tyre insurance, tried to
convince me I'd need different wheels to to change....thought he was talking b0$$OX :roll:
 
very nice - love the small touches, the wheels the badges, even the wind deflector making the roll hoops black :thumbsup:
 
Thanks Mate :) Yeah also went non rft's, the ride is transformed with the Eagle's :)

Checked the discs today, look even better, they are back to silver colour now :)
 
Welcome, nice looking beast you have there. Same colour as mine and I think it suits the shape of the car.....like a grey shark! Did you have the wheels done? If so, can I ask how much they cost to have done?
 
Hi Mate,

Wheel Genie in Huntingdon. They did a great job, took them two days, fully split, Chrome Black. They quoted £100 per wheel and £50 to paint all the hubs and calipers. + VAT. I'm really happy with it and would gladly recommend it, they look evil!

If your up this way you are more than welcome to take a look.

i like what you have done with the wheels, i think i may have to order some carbon badges in the near future
