New Car Ordered... Few Questions to you E89 lot...

Busted :oops:

I really want the ultra white light ones however when I said I wanted to get them fitted for pick up the dealer came back and said they would charge me for it. They need to take off each wheel to replace the bulbs!

WTF??!!!!

i dont mind the yellowish ones, not forking out £100+ for white ones
 
Will the bulbs from the new 3 series fit these cars, and if so, if that the problem solved....or is there more to it than that? I dont mind the yellow look, but if I can get genuine parts to whiten it up then I'd consider it.

They're not bulbs, they're integrated LED units and aren't transferable to the Z... :(

Couple things. I don't know if speakers have changed in 2011/12 but anyone with standard system will be more than happy considering some of the comments people have made on forums.

Car sounds lovely, nice burble and whistle from turbo

Glad to hear about the speakers, it would be interesting to know whether they have changed them on the new models. Apparently playing music directly via usb stick rather than an ipod is the way to go (along with lossless audio)! What do you plan to do?
 
Bluetooth is pretty good too....sound quality is good either way....

I wonder how you play it from a USB stick though, like it won't be like my iPhone where I can select the songs I want to play, etc.
 
USB doesn't pick up all the songs....do you guys know you have a hard drive If you have navigation..works a treat. Saves songs from USB and CDs
 
I hardly use it, but it looks good :thumbsup: watching DVDs is good, also the hard drive, online Internet etc....
 
Not tried playing via USB or cable yet, you can control tracks via the steering wheel which is pretty good :)

Also at nick, questions will probably still be coming hard and fast

Happy to help out if you need it...try shutting your key in the boot and it will not look and beep at you!
 
Flick the washer jets very very quickly and the headlight wash will not soak the front......
