New car mileage

Never bought a new car, but my Pre-reg 123d had 17 miles recorded (and I probably did 5 of them on the test drive)! :lol:

It was registered in September 2007 but I collected it in January 2008.

For a new car I would hope single digits!
 
All sorted - collection on Tuesday.

We are going in for 11.00 when we will put the existing cars registration onto a retention certificate, hand over the existing car and pay up with smile !

The BMW 'guru' is supposed to spend some time to pair phones and do the connected drive bit.
 
Mine had 5 on but the car before which was a pre reg z also and had 5 on. First new car I've ever bought and thought the clock would be at zero. Was looking forward to watching it click its first mile :driving:
 
I'm glad that we eventually got a sensible package put together - I'm too old to throw tantrums now :rofl:
We had grown up discussions at the dealership but the dummy was close to the edge of the pram on one or two occasions tho :D
The only downside is I will only have the car a few weeks before the November SORN ! There is a trip to South London to see Mrs K's cousin so I will get 600 + miles on it pre winter!
 
20+ means the dealer has used it as a demo. I once bought in Jakarta, Indonesia and that's exactly what happened. When I went to the dealer I saw a car exactly as my spec with customers viewing it and the salesman whispered to me "this is actually your car", is that cheeky or what.
 
I would have loved to have collected the car from Germany !
That's a facility they don't offer these days :thumbsdown:
