And they're a bit bush hungry on front end other than that pretty bullet proof and manual is the right choice!! Hope you enjoy it

You must have some independent inspection of the boot floor (the axle carrier panel) and preferably by someone who knows what they are looking for (redish a good start). It is a question of when not if they will fail and you will be looking a much much larger bill if not caught in time. Read all about it on the m3 forums it is no joke. Don't take the sellers word for it that it has been inspected.
BMW offered free replacement or fix of the ACP if the car was within 10 years and cracks were found, as yours is no longer within that 'goodwill' period you will not be eligible. If it has had the work done it will be documented, nearly all for sale ads that have had work done in that area talk about it.
Get it looked at and then enjoy worry free a great car

It has apparently a clean bill of health from the dealer regarding the sub frame, but it is going to my indy tonight for a check over on the sub frame and a few other bits before booking it in for an inspection 2 :)

I'm hoping they don't find any issues with it otherwise i'm going to have to have a chat with the dealer and hope he sorts it out.

In the future I will be taking it to ETA or Redish to have the reinforcement plates welded in so I don't have to worry about it :)

Went for a blast on Sunday and its absolutely amazing, it has soo much grip and just keeping pulling. Feels big compared to the z4 but feels a bit more stable in the bends.
