New Car and Owner

Hi everyone

Well after spending a while on here doing some research I finally bought a z4. I had a look at quite a few, went to view this one and nearly didnt bother due to a terrible advert. Fortunately, it was worth while and in stunning condition, really is nice.

Its a 2009 23i with 25000 miles, has front and park sensors and im not sure what else! I didn't like the wheels to start with and wanted the 296 19 inch ones but the ride seems nicer on these wheels compared to the cars with 296 on, but I still may change them. I was going to hold out for the m-sport but couldn't understand why they didn't have colour coded bumpers?! Personal preference I guess.

Welcome along. Probably best you don't go for the 296 wheels as they are notorious for cracking, especially when used with runflat tyres. I'm sure some of the E89 folks will be along shortly who can give you first hand experience on that.

Thanks everyone, really want to get the standard DRL lights replaced with the white led type, seems like there are lots of different options though.

Loving the drive of it, and surprised with the fuel economy really .

What is your mpg atm ? Im around 30mpg on mene - sensible driving.

still finding out a true reading really. We had a ride out from Nottingham to Harrogate with the top down, a steady 70 with gently driving. Had it between 39.7 and 42 ! Then on the way back it was slightly more sprinted, some hard acceleration, higher average speed and it did 35.

With steady driving around town its doing 32 - 34 mpg at the minute :? Which, I think is good really.
