New Canon EF-s 10-22mm wide lens

Great shot on London Bridge colours are superb what was the Exposure time ? as would love to try some of these style shots at Brands for the night race

Hi Gazza, I used a tripod and took several shots at various apertures and shutter speeds. I then amalgamated the best and most colorful shots using layers in PS. Looking at properties of some pics, it seems ISO500 was auto chosen, and predominantly f13 and between 4 to 6 secs.

Cheers were you shooting in M ?

its a lovely lens... just wish i could justify buying it! The sigma 10-20 is also meant to very nice (and a little cheaper).

Would like to see high res version of the last one, something looks very wrong about it but that could just be the res its sin.

Love the light one from London bridge, that is a really nice pic.

something looks very wrong? Is it the biase to the right, ie not a central point of interest?

The last pic, all I did was crop top and bottom to make it look panoramic. Other than that it is virgin, just the way I took the picture.

shutter priority mode, 500-ISO, F8, 1.3sec exposure, spot metering, no flash, 22mm focal length. No photoshop tweaks, just a crop. I was pleased with this one, more so than the light trails as that was an amalgamation of several pics.

Camera World sell it, although I understand the cheaper Sigma is about as good. I just plumped for Canon lens as I wanted it. Any good camera shop will have it in stock. Need a 72mm filter on it though...another cool £40 odd!

It needed 77mm, I assumed you have that instead of the 72?

Nice pic....and nicer

You're definitely getting the hang of that lens; they look great - loving the first one on the Millennium Bridge.
Note to self: start saving for that Nikon fit Sigma :)

No way I am posting in your thread as my pics will not be up to your level :D

Looking forward to it though, got some additional filters as well. And with Santa bringing me the remote as well, I am all set 8)
