hi guys
just sold my Boxster and thought i would look at the Z4 as an alternative
trouble is my local dealer never has any in stock so cant test drive etc
i am looking at a secondhand car around 18k so early 2009's
to get the performance i am used to it will have to be a manual 23i/3.0i
is there a spec sheet on the standard equipment for 2009my?
dealer told me hill hold was not standard on 23i is this correct?
also no cruise?

we also have a 320d msport on an 09 plate which has cruise as standard so seems weird they would take it off?

anyybody done a comparism with a Boxster 2.7?

any thoughts appreciated

Probably just check out the specs on parkers.co.uk?
I can confirm that cruise control is optional.
 
hill start assist is still not available on z4s...... cruise control was an optional extra but i think for your budget, you should be able to get a car for your spec...... maybe not from a dealer though
 
Hill start was available on 23i etc - its when they released the 20i and 28i that it disappeared from the cars. It didn't disappear from the brochures or website though for a little while after that!

My advice......IGNORE what the dealer tells you about the car until you can confirm it in person. If he tells you its got loads of features, then great, but withhold judgement until you see the car.

BMW change the "standard" options, they change the contents of "packs" etc - cruise comes and goes in the comfort pack.
