So being a nice day i thought this morning i would sort a few things out, first being i only had one horn working so replaced both of them, now working great !
Second was to replace all the lamps in the headlights with Philips 4000k Xenon Halogens and LED's for the sidelights, started on the drivers side with no problems, then onto the passenger side, all stated well until i went to change the main beam lamp, no matter what i did the lamp would not come out, i could get the holder of the lamp but the lamp was stuck in the headlamp so i was left with no alternative but to remove the whole headlight, 40 mins later the headlamp was out ! now to find out what was going on, well i could not believe what i was seeing, someone at some point could not fit the lamp in the headlamp, so what did they do ????? GLUED IT IN ! yes glued in, took me over 2 hours to get it out with out damaging the headlight, i had to use a Drimmel to get most of the glue of then pries it away, absolute nightmare, it was not even normal glue but something like a putty compound crap, all this was unnecessary as it was only the two prongs that was bent, i bent them back and it all fitted once again.
Oh and forgot to say there are no covers on the back of the lights and only one locking wire, hence why im getting so much condensation in the lights, now need to find some covers
So just going to say a very big thank you to the person who did this and made a simple job hard work
Anyway fitted the below and got to say the dogs bo...oxs ! the last 4 cars i have had i have fitted these and been very impressed, the small 501 LED's need to have a resistor bridged across the wires but easy enough job and stops the dash light coming on.
Its only because i work for a company who sells these that i buy them, if i had to buy outside your looking at around £60 + but i get them cheep cheep
One thing i would say is if your thinking of buying theses from Ebay, dont as 90% on sale there are fakes, believe me i'v seen loads of fakes and there not like original Philips ones, you get what you pay for
P.s my cat was also impressed !
