New Brakes

I just got back from the on base Auto Hobby Shop where I pulled the old brake pads off and installed some Axxis Deluxe pads.

I ordered them Friday with standard $8.00 shipping and they arrived yesterday.

After about 20 minutes of bedding the pads in, I like the feel, and it seems that I am stopping faster. Not sure though... But this should fix my damnable brake dust problem.... :D

I am glad I did this for an extra reason. The right rear caliper was dragging alot... Not sure why but that problem is now fixed...

I thought that there were brake wear sensors on all four wheels. Nope. Only on the left front and right rear...

Every time I drive it into the shop and put it on the frame lift, I get a gaggle of people around looking at the car and asking questions...

I like those pads a lot and run them on the X5. Feels like a much better stopping performance and virtually no dust.

same here, no issues with braking at all, its possible to go almost 2 weeks without the wheels looking dirty, and then its very easy to clean, almost spray cleaner and hose off. and no brake noise . Especially this time of year when its to cold to wash on a regular basis
