Make sure you remove any paint off the mating surfaces of the carriers else you risk inducing odd vibrations

Just did this on mine along with new brake lines, when I assembled it all and tested it I had a longer pedal than I was expecting which firmed up on second application, I bedded the pads but still had a longer pedal than I was happy with, so I made up a set of brass bushes for the calipers and hey presto , solid pedal and good progression!
All you need is somewhere to fit them
